Rampart Indoor Skatepark Reopening information - effective Thursday October 1st, 2020
Great news! After being shut down for over six months we’re excited to welcome you back to Rampart, and want you to know the health and safety of our guests, volunteers, and community is our top priority.
Although concerts and events will be put on hold for awhile, we will be open for drop in sessions during our normal business hours.
The way we will operate for now is a little different from what we are all used to as we adapt to the new landscape created by COVID-19. While we are committed to enhanced standards in an effort to keep you and your family as healthy and safe as possible, there remains an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place and any place where people are present. Please read the following to ensure the best experience possible as you plan your visit to the park.
DO NOT COME INTO THE PARK IF:
-If you have experienced COVID-19 symptoms in the last two weeks; cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, or a temperature of 100.4 or higher.
-If you have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
-If you have traveled to or from any state in the last two weeks.
Face masks are required for ALL visitors. There are specific areas that wearing a mask is required; when entering the building, in the lobby/retail shop, upstairs, while sitting anywhere, while on deck waiting your turn.
When skating/scooting/riding, a mask is not required but needs to be put back on when in areas listed above, or idle on ramps. Please just move to your chin and then slide it back on.
The state mandate will apply to individuals over the age of two. Rampart will continue to monitor and evaluate the County Health Department and CDC requirements.
During this time, additional modifications in the park will include:
-Limited capacity within the park.
-Social distancing markers throughout the park.
-Hand sanitizing stations will be available in retail shop, in the park, and upstairs.
-Disinfecting the park daily.
While we are committed to enhanced standards in an effort to keep you as healthy and safe as possible, there remains an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place and any place where people are present. People who do not show symptoms can still spread COVID-19. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and persons with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable and at higher risk for severe illness. Guests should familiarize themselves with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and evaluate their risk in determining whether they should attend the park. If you or a family member are ill or think that you may be getting ill, please postpone your visit until you are well. By visiting the park, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
We kindly ask you to please help comply with the state mandated safety rules and regulations, so we can remain open. Rampart reserves the right to refuse service.
